Good post, coach. Though somewhat related, some poor, unemployed guy around West Palm Beach went to the store to buy medicine for his sick wife. He had six bucks in his pocket, which was about all he had. He thought the medicine cost around 5 bucks but when he saw it was 7, he was so rattled that he put the bottle in his pocket and walked out.

He was arrested, of course. Police came with their lights flashing, handcuffs out and all that, took him to the slammer, hit the local tv. Then they followed it with a piece about Bernie Madoff who has a skillion dollar home over in Palm Beach. Bernie must be laughing his butt off in his 7 million dollar penthouse in Manhattan. I suppose he can afford the cream he must use when that ankle bracelet starts chaffing his leg.
