The reality is that the Canadian banks continue to operate like banks versus the Wallstreet banks became 90% casinos and this right under the noses of Clinton and Bush, in fact Washington for years has been in bed with the NY banks. This having been said, there are lots of regional and mid-size banks in the US with good banking practises and reasonable salaries and compensation yuet the focus remains NY banks, go figure.
