"This will never happen."

Never say never. Just think of all the instances of government violating the constitution.

Patriot Act? Control over education? The Fed? Confiscating gold? Invading nations with no declaration of war? Income tax? The list is long and growing.

I am not commenting on the ref article, but observing that many acts by our government have happened in my short life that were never to be allowed under our constitution.

The people had power when they were armed to the same degree as the government; when elections were un-manipulated, when parties did not decide who could run for office, when big business did not have total control of main stream media, when politicians were honest and had integrity...

Have you tried in anyway to exercise your "power"?
