I have the book, and I am on my second reading of it. The author and his wife live in Las Vegas. If I ever go down there again, I may phone him, and invite him for a coffee.

The narrative is utterly fascinating and chilling. I wonder how many of these sites have still to be found, and where did all the gold go? BOJ?? There are even Canadian connections.

Makes Kelly's Heroes seem like a joy-ride (which it was, of course, being a movie)
