Have the impression they are just knocking out Russia for the second time with the same tool: an oil price shorted into oblivion long enough to bring the country on its knees.

I guess the US Governments' attitude is: since we are going down, let them all go down with us and Russia first.

Next on the list China: going down the drain together with the dollar.

Finally Europe: if the dollar has to go down the drain to "cure" the US debt position, we better make sure also the Euro gets destroyed once and for all.

It is Armageddon and geo-politics in one go, or the other way round.
