My take on the deal is that it was a necessary evil, but I just don't like the participants. We have been getting daily screwings by TD and now it ll makes sense...sell the stock in the .80's and cover with .70 paper. The problem I have is that there may be even more selling in this range. I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell more stock between .80 - $1 at a nice profit and then just sit back with their free warrants and hope for the best.
As far as the purchase of the mill...I think it was a great deal and needed to make ECU respectable. The close proximity and relative ease to get to production is tremendous. Does anyone have an idea as to how long before startup? If they can produce enough cash flow to cover all operations and exploration then they can continue to prove up this billion-plus oz resource... and they won't have to deal with the scumbags on Bay St again...
