Wouldn't it be a hoot if the Senate refused to confirm Geithner ? The PPT would have to sit on the sidelines for weeks before they get a new boss. Think where PMs ( and the dollar ) would be by then.

I wonder if it was actually planned that way. Make things much worse so Obama will have an easier time pushing through his agenda/reforms ( and blame it on the last administration, and any Republicans who vote against Geithner ) because Obama wouldn't actually be in control yet. I must be almost as open and trusting as Pic ;-)
