I have to disagree with you about the line of questioning during the hearings. The country is sick of loosing qualified public servants for minor infractions.

Obama proved that. he admitted that he did drugs...not just didn't inhale...or back room rumors of cocaine use....just the broad statement that he used drugs...

The old sayings have meaning...Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...

Lets just accept that people are dumb and make mistakes in their personal lives. I sure have. I thought that my friends that inhaled were excluded from elected positions...which would be totally wrong....

Heck if we decriminalized...Mexico would be a stable country exporting a cash crop to the US and both countries would be better off....
