Bernie Madoff and the "Big Banks"?
1. Bernie admitted his mistake.
2. Bernie did not have the ability to create money.
3. Bernie did not hae taxpayer money to bail him out.

I'm sure there are others, but, in reality, it is no different than comparing "Government" to " Mafia".
