Argoz, since you are mentioning PAAS, I have a little piece of information to share that is interesting in this context.

PAAS recently (in October) bought at least 1.5 million units in a placement by Aquiline Resources, which took over the Navidad property in Argentina from IMA Resource Corporation after winning a court case. The Navidad property stood at 600 mln silver (Eq)ounces in 2007.

Who knows, PAAS is eying the Navidad property, though it must be mentioned that another (not mentioned) mining company also bought 2 mln units of Aquilline in early 2008.

Some major players may be getting ready for the consolidation of the sector.
