The OTC derivatives i.e. outside of any official organized and regulated exchanges or markets now stand at $683000 billion of which $57000 billion CDS (bets against failures). This growing at 15% in the 1st half of 2008. This separate from derivatives on regulated exchanges. The total quite likely exceeds one million billions. (quadrillion).
