I am bewildered why there is still no interest of funds in the gold- and silver mining sector. There is so much money waiting on the sideline to get in again in equities, yet they cannot see the opportunities this sector offers?
First of all, the sector has been slaughtered more than any other sector.
Secondly, it should be clear that gold and silver have bottomed out by now and that demand for this safe haven investment keeps on accelerating.
Finally, if there is one sector which will benefit from lower oil/energy prices, it is the mining sector, so margins will be shooting up fast.
I can understand these funds hesitate to put money back into shares in general, but what is keeping them from stepping in at the bottom of a booming sector that is one of the few that will florish during a recession or depression?
