The same foxes that paved the foundation for this Credit & Derivatives & naked shorting crisis - all which are the result of specific designs intended to confiscate savings from the average Joe Argentina style with the blessing of uncaring politicians - now want to plug a large loophole that allows people to protect themselves. I do believe that Canadians will still be permitted to take delivery of certificates, but I digress.

If tptb really did care for their citizens' welfare, then they should enforce strict reporting of naked shorting taking place at Canadian Brokerages but instead they want to track via FinCon piddly $10k transactions of a few people who want to protect themselves by taking delivery of small purchases of Gold, Silver & jewelry in Canada. Meanwhile, the real criminals - hedge funds and brokerage houses in collusion - screw investors out of Billions of Dollars while regulators wilfully turn a blind eye. One wonders what it will it take for authorities to finally wake up and deal with these scum and I'd say the first couple of headlines of a few "privileged" regulators joining their banking counterparts in meeting a sudden untimely demise outta do the trick.
