"If it can't pay its way, it can't stay."
Pretty simple logic imo.
Suggest one of the solutions for the "Big Three" is to negotiate bailout money via the bloated union pension funds of the UAW. This would surely get rid of those that "can't pay (or don't feel they could get a good return)".
Also, suggest there are some bloated areas of unnecessary administration that need to be re-visited (Sarbanes Oxley come immediately to mind).
Wonder if the companies have analysed the basic "Needs and Wants" and thrown out the wants?
