Gospel

I think most people have a clue what's happening here, and regardless of the financials for the quarter (which are more likely to be below expectations than above), we operate on the facts

a) ECU has massive under the ground potential which is currently being sized up for a new 43-101. Any major is going to be interested

b) We have operating mills, although the revenues achieved to date on the base metals won't be brilliant, according to a not long distant release 5m ounces in gold (plus silver) relates to quite a decent conversion into canadian dollars, especially since the CAD has been in the tank against the USD. That's about a third of what is currently owed on loans, and releases the space for new inventory. Loans are not due to repaid until well into 09, which provides ECU plenty of time to up production. Other juniors are actively cutting costs, and the drop in the price of energy is helpful in that regard.

c) Long line of credit available for a back up, the Canadian banks have a best in the world credit rating from business, which is the next financial cloud brewing. Credit lines are unlikely to be an issue here IMHO. We all recognise a good thing when we see it

Some would say the glass is half full
