Martin Weiss of Weiss Research alerting investors to be watchful over the coming days and weeks of the negative effect on the markets of likely large fund redemptions.

As he points out, "most hedge funds only allow investors to ask for redemptions once each quarter. Many of them require that investors who want their money back must ask for their redemptions before the market closes on November 14." That was YESTERDAY.

Fortress Investment Group, for example, has redemptions equaling 25% of their total assets that have to be met beginning as early as this Monday. And they're just one of supposedly many funds. According to Mike Larsen, one of Weiss' writers, and he's pumping his newsletter, of course, there's the alarming possiblity that one-half trillion dollars of redemptions could hit the market before year end. (no juniors for a change, please)

All this is in contrast with other writers who think the bottom is in and are looking for the markets to rally from here, for a strong market reaction to the G20 meeting, for a positive reaction to the impending dollar decline, etc., with no mention of any disaster lurking in the bushes.
