Darlene, Unfortunately as optimistic as you sound, free markets are certainly a thing of the past. The nation is on it's way down, the sooner you embrace this the sooner you'll be able to save what you cherish. Be extremely cautious, doom or not, and you'll always come out either even or ahead.

Good luck...i used to live in NY for the last 25 yrs and have packed and moved out of the US for good.....never going back.
