The current CFTC investigation into silver price manipulation, I don't expect to uncover anything ever as the perpetrators act in collusion with government entities, under cover market intervention "raison d'état", presumed state interests, pretext for taking precedence above the law.

The Comex commercial large bullion banks silver manipulating shorters, despite their obvious efforts to trigger margin calls and for computer programs to liquidate long positions, have not in the least bit been successful to intimidate the longs to throw in the towel for the 2 large bullion banks to cover their overwhelming and obscenely large and persistent manipulative net short position reduced by only net 0.5 million ounces to some 120 million ounces ($1.2 billion).

The Comex inventory of 133 million ounces at best covers 19% of the open interest, not counting that almost all of it is reserved and allocated inventory. When a couple of large longs will demand physical delivery, a bank run on the Comex, a short squeeze will entail, by that time the rules to demand the physical may be altered to keep it out of reach for all but some cronies.
