Short Selling Ban Expiring

According to an alert from Schwab "Short Selling Ban to Expire 11:59 pm ET Oct. 8." Don't know exactly what that covers. Can't remember who it was, but someone unloaded roughly 40 to 50k ECU around 11:49, perhaps anticipating short selling or maybe even jumping the gun. What a mess.
