I was fortunate to catch a replay on tv of Ron Paul's address to the Ron Paul rally/convention held in Minneapolis last week. There's a very short clip of him addressing the crowd at the site below. And I'm waiting to see if the whole address, about 45 minutes or so, ever appears on YouTube. I or someone else will get it up here, if it does. Seemed to me that the man spoke from notes as well as off-the-cuff and not a teleprompter and didn't miss a beat. Big crowd, huge positive reaction.

If this ground swell generated by Ron Paul picks up momentum over the coming months, perhaps we'll see another Libertarian Party on the ballot next election. Perhaps also a green-type party ala Al Gore, but the huge costs surrounding these elections has gotten so high, I doubt anything will budge the status quo. Too bad, IMO.
