Just having anal fun, and hope you don't mind.

Interestingly, I have lived adjacent to Montreal (Dorval) airport for most of my 55 Years, and have noticed some unusual activity over the past few weeks. In fact, my house is the last house directly on the approach / takeoff of the main (longest) runway runway, and I have been here for about 15 years. When watching TV, or sitting on the patio with friends, the "Dorval pause" is a common occurance.

About 2 Weeks ago, I saw, for the very first time in my life, a US Air Force cargo aircraft (C5? - don't know what, but big) on takeoff, and sightings of Canadian F-18s on takeoff, once a yearly event, has been almost daily over the last few weeks. I have worked in the aerospace industry for 25 Years, including several Months on US Naval Air Stations. Believe me, I know the sound of F404 engines going over my house at approx. 600 ft.
