The counterintuitive move on Wall Street was so strong today that there were widespread reports of traders experiencing hallucinations. One trader using his Blackberry actually snapped a photo of the object initially observed circling above the NYCOMEX and then later seen above the NYSE. Field reports on the day suggested that it was just a marketing ploy to promote Jon Nadler's daily columns but those reports went unconfirmed.
