I have never in my travels around the globe seen price controls work. They only lead to a black market market situation. Black markets are great if you're on rigt side of the buy/sell side of a trade. The other side is not so nice. It especially hurts the people in heed of something or other.
I'll stick with free enterprise and ride the bubbles that come along now and then.
