I don't disagree with your approach Edgy, I focus more on fundamentals and sentiment as well but technicals in all it's forms such as simple trendlines and moving averages to more complex cycle stuff and wave patterns can be valubale adjuncts to fundamentals and help in confirming market turns as opposed to predicting them.

I try to keep a very open mind to different ways of looking at things even when I find them suspect as one never knows where a valuable lesson may come from or a kernel of truth emerge.
