We should all keep in mind that this is month end, options just expired along with first call for delivery, the FED announcement on rates tomorrow and the jobs numbers are due on Friday. I have dreaded the prospects of this week for a month as it's a perfect storm for the cartel boys to play their games.

So far so good for friends of gold as the dollar has struggled to rise slightly, gold/silver has held pretty well, oil is firmish, base metals are firmish as well. Considering that most Central Banks have been helping in the currency market for weeks to goose the dollar and weaken their own currencies, gold has held relatively well and the gold shares are exhibiting bottoming action coinciding with a cycle turn higher.

This market is poised to go higher and t appears the prospects for a spring/summer rally are better than I have seen in years.
