The dollar is not yet in its final low. The financial wows and the like are just symptoms of an underlying flaw - the debt. The debt is the fundamental problem and until it is delt with all the rest negative or positive indicators or hype are just temporary variations of a downward spiral. Is it being dealt with? - hardly.

The dollar may reach a severe low by this summer as he says but the final blow may not appear then, but much later. The blow I refer to is when many foreign holders give up on supporting and holding the dollar and decide that enough is enough in a hopeless cause.
The pin that is likely to prick that baloon is China. It is divesting of its dollars through resource aquisitions, once that is largely over - Watch Out. That divesting will take time, hence my comments are partly based on that timing.

He may be referring to the same thing but I think that 'The Event' will not happen this early. We have been waiting for it for a long time and it is still likely to take much longer, jmho.

By the way, the share price today is not an indication of any support in the classic sense. It is just a reaction to the price of the metal ($17.80).
