I sure wish we did. Then there would be no national debt. We would owe it to ourselves.

We would be creating money out of thin air instead of the central bank doing it for us, and charging us interest amounting to about 85% of our taxes.

I believe it was set up at the same time as the federal reserve was set up down south of the border in 1913.
