The trading of ABK was just halted about 10 minutes ago. It has been contemplated that the big banks have given them a temporary life line so that the insured bonds do not have to be moved onto the books just yet. Considering the enormity of what is at stake here, any news related the to the bond insurers could rocket the markets in either direction. We will see if gold gets carried away in the market momentum.
