One of the contrasts in overseas trading from that in North Amercia:

Today, the Nikei is down 4% yet gold and silver are flying. There is no agenda in Asia to hide the strength in metals when the stock markets are weak.

In NA, whenever the DOW is getting trashed, gold is taken down with it no matter how weak the dollar may be. There are no free markets in NA, just the illusion of a free market.

The SILVER lining of course is that they can screw around with the metals from one day to the next maybe, but they cannot halt the bull market and there are now big enough buyers stepping up that even the blatant raids to cap silver and gold are being reversed quickly.
