Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
Seems like the boiler (blower) room boys and shorts have suddenly become more conciliatory in tone. That means that the shorts have finally decided it may be time to go long and the "blower" room boys have been told to back off. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues. If it does (it may well not) and if we see actual pumping or newcomers on this BB all gassed up to the positive, could be that some fund/s or another have decided to slowly buy in. Geez, there's precious little left to sell (except that which is fraudulent/not delivered).
It is my opinion that we are in an unprecedented gap of potential volitility, susceptible to unexpected, quick moves engendered by the unnatural compression of the PMs and their markets. This will start to unfold as we witness sporadic, unexpected, explosive moves in specific PM stocks, certain funds (Sprott, RBC Precious Metals), bullion funds (CEF), ETFs (I choked on that one), silver/gold coins and maybe royalty stocks such as Franco Nevada.
The background for all this has been the fact that the fundamnetals for the sector have been ignored far too long while the management of the sector has become "overbought", so to speak. The Gee S', AIGs, bankers, brokers, Clubs (Silver Users), Hedge funds, hedged miners, IMF, World Bank, Governments (Britain, US. G7), Central Banks et al....have reached the end of their game plan thanks to "The Newcomers". The lies, fraud, criminality, insider fraternities, etc. are now being exposed and pressured to duck and cover. The pressure is now being exerted at the highest of levels and it is plain to see in the faces of such as Paulson, Bush, Bernancke, Greenspan, Rubin, Gordon Brown, Fed. Bank Govenors, etc.
So, with all the cash (funds worldwide are at their highest cash levels since 9/11) out there laying in wait for the next bubble (that some see in Gold), who will jump first? Which eastern or western fund, investor will defy the wishes of "those with a weakening grip" and jump into the PM sector with great visibility...staring down those with red-faced umbrage and fury? What will happen them? When will the dam break?
Do not go to the fridge after the "commercial" is over.
We sit, we wait, we watch...we begin to listen.
