Did you inform him that you have a short term investing in mind? Because that comment surely reflects that. Good advice from a broker that is Short Minded and for an investor of same mind set.
Should his attitude to investing be yours? Probably you need a different advisor if your strategy is more long term.
It is completely out of whack with my outlook and I short term trade a tiny portion of my holds.
Just a couple of hours ago I got tired of waiting for ECU at $1.75 ( someone yesterday said that he was waiting for same price) and I bought 1500 at $1.77.
I will sell these above $2 because I used up my last cash reserves, only $300 left in account.
I am no expert, Ed.
