Message: Silver may outshine gold, experts say (ALTMAN QUOTED)
"Silver may outshine gold", Not MAY for it implies uncertainty but that it SHOULD and the only remaining question that remains is When.
And this is no expert saying it (me), for it is so obvious that it should not be necessary for any expert to say it. It is self evident to anyone being even slightly in tune with the situation.
Historically silver has been priced at near 1 to 15 ratio of gold. Recently it has been close to 50 and now it is edging on 56!
So silver bullion has been losing ground to gold.
The reason for that ratio going up instead of down is probably due to the price being artificially brought down by the 'powerful' to keep silver from the monetary status i.e. playing secondary role to gold as real money. The powers do not want the PMs to be used as money because they are in short supply and therefore harder to control (counterfit?). Cash on the other hand can be printed at will and subject to Their control.

Silver outpacing gold has nothing to do with the absolute price of gold. Silver will follow it closely but I suspect lagging it all the way. It has to do with gold running its course and when it has nearly finished that will be the time for silver or more correctly silver stocks. Silver stocks will take over from gold stocks and carry that market to new hights that only the best of gold stocks might match.

In late 1970s there was a stock that only had Gold in its name yet it rose to surprising hights. The same will likely happen to mediocre silver stocks, rising not on real assets but on the frenzied investor that will jump at anything to do with silver.

And you will see headlines that will test your conviction all the way. Today I noticed an interesting one "Silver in Surplus?" by Roland Watson:

Silver is the best conductor but it is Not a superconductor, that is an error in those reports from National Post.

The above are just my opinions, so treat them as such. Edgy.
