These articles are indicative of the tight markets over the past few years where banks/fund managers/investment company's and advisors do not have the pool of cash to dip into nor is lending easy. This is why junior producers or near producers with proven reserves and cashflow are a better bet especially at or under $.10/share. Those who do not have to go to the market for cash rather cash flow their operations even at a slight loss are destined to go up. Resources in the ground are exactly that...resources in the ground. That said, amalgamations, mergers and buy-outs are ripe targets and these will significantly increase this year and next IMO. Producers want the resources they don't have to look for which costs a lot of risk capital not easily secured.
