Message: New Letter to the Board of Directors

Mr. Takefman:

I agree that there needs to be a different perspective on the board. Nothing personal, but in my own opinion, I don't believe you would be the most appropriate choice.

We need to communicate to our board that we need to see change, and we need to see it very soon. A position on the board is by election. The company has always suggested a slate and we can ask to have alternatives put on the list. Before we become unreasonable, it is better to determine if our board wishes to treat us reasonably. So far we have not asked, so no one has been negative to a suggestion. Your own experience may be different, but it also may have something to do with your approach.

Activism as a shareholder is not about the best rant, it is about offering sound pragmatic solutions in a rational and objective way.

Before making a suggestion as to a Board position, it may be best to determine if a significant number of shareholders want that. Then would be the time to ask those same shareholders whom they want to represent their interests. 10 million shares isn't enough. You need 20% of the oustanding shares imo.
