CAN has drilled more than 400 holes and as far as I can see GNH has drilled less than 200 even counting back to the holes drilled since 1952.
Having said that, we know from the bulk sampling that the average grade is somewhere between 2g/t to 3g/t.
see Tech report 9/12/2010......In general terms, diamond drilling of the T1 mineralization suggests a gold content in the order of 2 grams per tonne as compared to the results of bulk sampling at surface which suggests a grade estimator of approximately 3 grams per tonne.
In the company's Corporate fact sheet they show that just the T-1 zone contains (unconfirmed potential) between 10 to 15 million tons. And the T-2A & T-2B contain (unconfirmed potential) between 5 to 10 million tons.
So, I would argue that we have (potential & unconfirmed)yet) between 15 to 25 million tons at an average of 2 to 3g/t (take your pick).
So, a low of 30 mill g/t or say about 1 million ounces and a high of 75 million g/t or 2.6 million ounces.
All this is just from those two zones without adding in anything for Ascot and 88 etc.
I'm going to stick my neck out (but not very far) and go for somewhere between 750,000 and 1.5 mill.
Any takers?
