New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Hey guys,
I hope you don't mind me sharing a few thoughts on the recent drilling at T1 that were really solidified for me when I went to the GNH booth at PDAC. At the conference, Sasha had a large aerial view map with the location of the drill holes all the way up to #193 I think it was. The thing that struck me as interesting was the orientation of the majority of the latest holes. Whereas traditionally we had been drilling across (perpendicular to) the NE-SW trend of the deposit these latest holes were oriented in multiple different directions. My interpretation of that was that these holes were trying to fill in missing blocks of info to possibly create a more continuous 3D model of the deposit. To my mind this was a final attempt to add tonnage before the end of the winter drill program. Moreover, this apparent strategy was employed not only at T1 but also around the 88 zones according to Sasha's map.
For that reason, and given the known lab assay wait times, I will wait patiently for the RE, even if it does appear to be a few days later than March 31. To my mind, any hole that has the potential to add significantly to this RE as a result of the latest program should be included but these are not my decisions to make. I trust Frank et al. to do what is right for all of us.
Another interesting feature of the latest drill program were the exploration holes drilled to the SW of the 88 zone. Look at their interesting orientation- these do not seem an attempt to extend the 88 along the NE-SW corridor but rather that they had something else in mind. All I know is if there is mineralization near the end of that most Southern hole it would almost double width of the surface footprint for the "88 zones". Wishful thinking? ... time will tell.
Best,
Scott
