New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
tmleafs...that wall at 31 is not a bad thing right now. We need some consolidation at these higher prices. I was just happy to see GMP come in today. Very nice addition to our other big houses. Penson was also a buyer today.
As for the results from MAG...not bad but if you want crazy results, look at FMG. Now, I do not own alot there and have not done much DD but 9.7m of 3105 g/t silver equivalent is great...and they went down today!! Market are just messed up sometimes. I feel bad for Jim Voisin who probably was expected a glory day today with those results.
Scott, congrats on holding 6000g/t gold in your hands, that must be a nice feeling! It would of been nice to have the core from 184 in your hands as well to compare! It will be interesting to see how it comes out in the assays.
I called GWQ today which is the company that is drilling next to us at Champagne. I had a nice chat with the CEO. I told him about the 15% graphite historically in the area and he was aware of this and said they would be running assays for it but he did not seem to put much hope on that. He said that for Graphite, you need huge tonnage to make a project viable. He thinks that the Champagne zone will be a gold/silver play with base metal credits. They have 11 holes in the lab from that zone and they have pictures of the first hole's core on their website if anyone is interested in seeing the core. One nice thing is that they are starting assays from only 7m down, so this is very close to surface. He seemed to think that the results would be very positive for the share price of both companies. He thinks highly of Frank. Was aware of prior management and was not impressed by them. Thinks the the new team is doing a good job. He hopes to keep collaborating with GNH on things like VTEM and other efforts that help both companies.
I have no problem if the graphite thing does not work out if we get some good gold/silver news from there. For those who do not know, we have 9 holes that we are awaiting assays on from that area.
