Actually it's stated in almost any book or course in investing that when everyone is telling you to go one way you should be rather nervous and thinking about going the other. The phrase "never say never" is the most fundamental overall rule to keep in your hip pocket. It makes no claims, it just says keep an open mind. The market will find your weaknesses and bury you.
