I've been surfing around trying something close to compare to that GNH intercept.
Now, PCarry hit the nail on the head with Manitou with 53,700g/t over .55m. That's uh....staggering.
From what I can tell though, aside from that lunacy hit - this GNH result is also out of this world. The best stuff I can find seems to be mostly all under 1000g/t and the handful that are above are almost all certainly under 2000g/t - and these are also all 1m in length.
The best one I could see from present day drilling comes from Colussus Minerals (CSI). The best high grade intercept they promote is 2.35m @ 4631.70g/t.
'including 239.95 242.30 2.35 4631.70 1600.00 1730.00'
Colussus is in a league of its own when it comes to modern day assays, but that is their best short intercept.
Their best is; (Colossus Minerals' latest drill results for its Serra Pelada project include a cut 7.3 metres @ 1,494.7 g/t gold, 516.6 g/t platinum and 558.9 g/t palladium in hole 99) They have lots of these.
It's hard for me to grasp that GNH was actually the company that drilled this because I have been following them for so bloody long. It's pretty incredible, the more I learn about it. My feet are firmly on the ground here, but wow - that intercept hits it out of the park!
