MONTREAL, Dec. 20, 2011 /CNW/ - Golden Hope Mines ("Golden Hope" or the "Company") (TSXV: GNH), (OTCQX: GOLHF) announces that the Board of Directors of the Company, based on the
recommendation of its Audit Committee and subject to compliance with
all applicable statutory requirements, has appointed Horwath Leebosh
Appel LLP ("Horwath") as the auditor of the Company. The predecessor
auditors of the Company, Harris & Partners LLP ("Harris"), resigned as
the auditors of the Company as they have not been proposed for
reappointment. Horwath will perform the audit of the Company's annual
financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2011.
There have been no reservations contained in Harris' reports on any of
the Company's financial statements relating to the financial years
ended December 31, 2009 and 2010 or any subsequent period, and there
are no reportable events, as such term is defined in National
Instrument 51-102, between the Company and Harris. The Company will be
filing the required reporting package in accordance with National
Instrument 51-102.
