Message: additional bulk sampling?

Hey gang,

I had the chance to play a round of golf with Jim Tilsley yesterday. Fantastic weather. We had lots of time to talk as he was helping me find my ball in the woods for most of the morning. I asked him why he was so interested in the Champagne zone and he explained a bit about how the snycline formed and how this region appears to be completely unrelated to the Bellechasse quartz-diorite zones with respect to the timing of their formation. He summarized the historical drilling rsults (2.0-2.5 g/ton gold and other notable base metals likely in massive sulfides with very large potential for tonnage in the known zones). He also said the potential for expanding the known zones was quite high because the nature of the syncline suggested we might have somewhere in the neighbourhood of 10-15 km of claims containing similar lenses . So now are you ready for the really good news? The nature of the gold in this zone is fine particles and evenly distributed- yes you heard it right ... no nugget effect. This means no need for specialized assays or bulk sampling or grade modification strategies. The drill will likely not significantly underestimate the grade for this deposit. Hooray!

We also talked at length about the status of the Bellechasse project and the work that SGS was doing. In general, Jim seemed positive about the role that SGS was playing in the process although he was quick to point out that he still had a number of things to teach these "youngsters". I'm sure he was looking back at himself at the start of his own career when he said "there really is only way to gain 50 years of experience in this business". Hard to argue with those words. I feel very lucky to be one of the beneficiaries of his 50 years of experience.

Happy thanksgiving everyone - good volume today and up 0.02 as I type this!!

Best,

Scott
