New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
We already have lots of drilling in T2 which gives us an average grade of 2g/t on the drill alone, and just over 1g/t in T1. Numerous VG's (min 31g/t +) in both zones, which obviously didn't make it into the 50g sample bags. So my guess would be we are coming in very conservatively over 2g/t. Not many explorco's out there coming in with those numbers anymore.
Historical drilling in the Champagne zone has again come in with an average grade over 2g/t, although all drilling being relatively shallow, which actually is a good thing because once again it shows us that mineralization starts at surface. I guarantee you, it also goes deep. What is interesting, is the potential width of the strike length, it appears it could be very wide in some parts, and also contains some other metals, such as silver, which I wasn't expecting. What is also going to be interesting, is the copper values which are going to start to pop up.
I asked Sasha why this zone was never mentioned before and his reply was that the strategy was to use the SGH results last year to see if there was correlation for surface Gold. Oh well, so much for that method. In away I'm glad, because it would have made Gold prospecting way too easy for everybody.
