I've read lots of different prognosticators over the past few years and think James West is very near the top of the heap. He is one of a few that has the guts to make actual stock picks, and will also readily admit when he is wrong.

I'm happy for a guy like to be thrown 1 BILLION dollars. It's a very big deal. I think my GMP contact asked me if I would be interested - minimum buyin is 150k!

To tie this back to GNH, this is a unique connection. West is primarily looking at funding near start ups and taking gold futures as payment and will then store the physical gold.

Maybe he'll find a small margin of his portfolio to fund the genesis of an interesting play in Quebec....one he was apparently begging to be involved in.
