Further to my post last week on the railroad, "borrowed" from Mosin39 on sh. He has another post and here are part of his comments, "The railroad is not a rumour. It is fact, the line has been totally upgraded here and they are now working on the more southern section and the line up toward St. Magloir. To give you all a better idea that something is going on up there, the Autoroute 73, which is being built from Quebec City to St-Georges, QC and eventually the Maine, U.S.A. border, has been 30 years is the making and is now only to Beauceville, QC. The rail line was done in 3 weeks. There are some lumber mills out in that area, but not enough to justify the amount of work being done. Trucks handle all that traffic quite easily even with secondary highways" rj
