This may give the answer, beyond 358 the hole reads on the diagram as being volanoclastic. That's not to say there is no gold there in fact quite the opposite may be true its just the luck of the bit that finds it.

However, gold-bearing quartz-filled structures exist in the volcanoclastics that host the diorite
intrusives, and appear to be related to mineralizing activity originating within the diorites"
they may find minor amounts in veins within the volcanoclastic
I also wonder if the green section was assayed.
