New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
I just talked to the office and congratulated them on today's NR. I think we all knew it was coming (they told us it was), except maybe for the hiring of a second firm for the environmental study. Ballpark costs for this type of work by SGS are in the range of $50-70 K which includes all consulting up until the preparation of the NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate.
The environmental studies are purely for the purpose of ensuring we are not in protected wetland areas that would make future permitting of any type more difficult. These costs for Genivar usually run in the $ 17-22 K range.
I think this is a small price to pay for third party validation of the data collected thus far and for an independent assessment of the strategies required to bring this resource estimate home. I'm looking forward to hearing what SGS has to say and how the company builds its drilling plan around thier suggestions.
Best,
Scott
