New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
The company is also very encouraged by initial interpretation of the Winter 2011 drill
holes. As reported in March 10, 2011, visible gold was observed in three of the holes,
BD2011-152, 155, and 156, 85m to 165m on strike northeast of T1 at a vertical depth of
approximately 350 metres suggesting further extension of the T1 Zone to the northeast.
“As the T1 zone currently represents the company’s largest tonnage potential and most
delineated zone, this recent development is very exciting” stated Mr. Frank Candido,
President of Golden Hope Mines.
I must admit the last NR I didn't pay much attention to, and that is only because I have been busy with life etc. In the previous NR they said that MULTIPLE VG was found in holes 152, 153, and 154. These are extensions of T1 and not yet reported holes. Not to mention VG in holes 152, 153, 154, 155, and 156. My expectations are tempered as VG has not translated into big results everytime, but this is impressive. Particularly since it's from T1 where our best results have been from to date. Most VG in T1 anyways.
Other Targets in Southeastern Quebec
(Exploration results from the 2010 Field Season)
Golden Hope has a number of other targets outside of the Bellechasse Belt and within
different geological settings. The company has been advancing these targets through
continued exploration since August 2009 and some are now drill ready.
There are 6 targets they have mentioned in the NR. These targets are the fruits of the labour of the junior geologists that GNH had hired for the season. Don't quote me on this but they had two young geo's pacing the fields all summer long looking for anomalies. It's very early in the prognosis but some of these results are indicative of further exploration required. I don't see any other companies bringing the variety of mineralization they are right now....maybe ROF stocks but that's it. (There's chromite for Pete's sake!)
All of these new zones tie very well into the conversation I had with Frank Glass at the PDAC. He was VERY excited about this fault line that runs from Val D'or down to the Beauce and into Maine. I couldn't possibly relay what he was trying to explain to me but the reason this guy is so involved with GNH, I believe - is for this reason. I think he is one guy who is seeing the tip of the iceberg?
Anyways, good to see they are letting the cat out of the bag as to what they have been working on for the last little while. I had no idea they had drill ready targets and sent so many samples to the lab for geophysical interpretation.
One last comment is hole 138 I noticed actually from the NR before this one. This is the Big Red Blob as far I understand and it came back with 90+ metres of quartz diorite but no significant assays. Crazy eh? The strongest geochem signal telling them there is gold there but no assays to prove it. Argh...I have a funny feeling the little drill missed the gold nuggets on the way down and a bulk sample would do it some good.
Not proofreading...gotta hit the sack.
