Message: Shareholder Meeting

Few things to report from the shareholder meeting.

Leonard Melman was the there, who wrote the first great report on GNH.

George from Agoracom was there.

Paradox (Pr firm was there), Tilsley, Dany, FSG, Paul Nicholls, and Zurowski came in a bit late at the end. Of course, Chairman Bob Stocks was there...a partner in the largest mining legal firm in the world and host of the event at his firm, Faskens.

Frank started with introducing himself, acknowledging that it has been a wild year with the share price but that the company maintains it's focus and they have been very pleased with the succes they have had this year.

(btw, just remembered Dany at the PDAC saying they are really busy moving things into their new space and that the existing core shack is literally jammed)

Frank said they have $4M plus $1M coming back from the Quebec gov't and that 2011 is going to be a great year and they are all very excited for the future and this is a great project and that they have done great things including putting together a fantastic team with lots of experience.

JT took the floor with a laser pointer he borrowed from my GMP VP friend and the battery was dying, so made for a few interesting pauses.

JT explained the 88 zone and how the diorite acts as a 'cap' for the quartz solution so they are effectively in the hunt for diorite. The volcanics were not hard enough to contain the high pressure solution so that would be considered 'waste rock'. So we basically have 2 kinds of rock....diorite (assumed with quartz from the hydraulic fracturing) and waste rock.

The gap between 88 and T1/T2 is volcanics...or waste rock.

They think they see the same stuff in 88 as T1.

I noticed, but never had a chance to ask about this that the diorite 'cap' in the 88 Zones was below the surface, hence not making it into the bulk sample. I think Hoov has alluded to this and Yukon mentioned this recently, but here is my analogy;

Picture a chocolate with a caramel centre. In T1, the chocolate 'cap' has been eroded away and the caramel is exposed. In 88 the chocolate has not eroded the same and the caramel is deeper. I believe that is why the bullk sampling was met with limited success relative to T1 in some areas of 88. The chocolate cap is too far underground in several of those zones that they couldn't get to the caramel except in a couple of them.

JT did acknowledge that he thought the grades of the specific AU zones would be 6g/t. Obviously the 'overall' grade is lower and with the latest results we are now looking at prob somewhere between 2.5-2.99g/t.

Frank came back on the floor and mentioned how they have had absolutely UNPAID support and endorsements from the likes of Melman, Jay Taylor, James West and Larry Hoover and that they all like and believe in this property/project. He started to talk about how incredibly thorough Marc Drouin is....but I was distracted so I didn't hear his exact point here. Anyone else?

Frank said that they thought they missed on the Road Zone and I don't think they are giving up there. I think he said they went under it?

I remember them mentioning it is swampy to the southwest, so I think they will probably have to avoid that area simply to avoid the headaches of dealing with the conditions.

Again, I think I remember him alluding to a 3rd party but this would likely have to do with getting a modeller or 43-101 report.

My other friend in attendance asked about why we do not have a second drill. Interestingly enough another shareholder started to answer for Frank! :) What Frank eventually said was that in this business you are in a constant state of awarness of your financial situation. You cannot spend money unless you are certain of the value of that spend (my words not his).

At present, the drillers give enough core for them to interpret that a second drill would overwhelm the geological team with information. One drill is plenty in that repsect. I actually would agree with JulieW that a second drill should be added for definition drilling in support of the 43-101. They have already selected the collar locations and if it's 11,000m required for it...it could take a drill several months to get this completed.

Regardless, this is probably a great time to have zero drills and it is still winter and I recently heard how Eastern Townships have been buried in snow this winter and contnuing to get socked with it. Snow is one of the only things that can hinder drilling I've been told. When there is too much for the trucks to go, they have to shut it down.

Umm, what else....I guess that's all I can think of for now. I'll post anything else if it comes to me. Perhaps this will help jog some other memories.

I'd like to hear Hoov's thought on the diorite cap theory. I think this is why we saw glorious results and lacklustre results in the 88 Zone.

Regardless of anything, they will need to communicate their successes to the market just as well as they do their shareholders.

Sorry for unpolished report. I didn't get a chance to ask many questions. I'll have to follow up with them in the near future. It's too busy at these kinds of events to really get specific answers...
