... is what we will need at some stage to confirm our grades and deposit size.

At least, according to this report on nuggety vein systems:

Some interesting snippets:

* Resource tonnages (of nuggety vein systems) cn generally be calculated from diamond drill and development information with a reasonable degree of confidence. However, grade is much more difficult to define with confidence because of its erratic and discontinuous nature. Bulk sampling will be required to assess likely resource grades.

* Diamond drilling gives a good indication of vein location and structure, but is not an effective measure of grade.

* It is prefearable to use the largest core size available for surface drilling, in the attempt to keep samples larger and more representative.

* The key result of the findings is that bulk sampling provides the best way to determine grade in the nuggety gold environment.

* The classification and reporting of reserves and resources in a nuggety gold system is not straightforward. In most cases the following characteristics are observed:

- the tonnage of mineralization can be defined with reasonable accuracy

- gold grade is difficult to determine with the same confidence as tonnage, and

- drilling and other small volume sample techniques SIGNIFICANTLY UNDERSTATE bulk sampling grades and most likely the TRUE GRADE OF THE MINERALZATION.
