The cores were never lost...just misplaced if you will. Long story there but basically, all the buckets with the bags of core were put into a room in no particular order (that was the mistake). The tags to identify the batch of cores were inside the bag. 43-101 regulation calls for the contents of the bag to be assayed as soon as they are open. So there was the problem...we had to do them as they were opened and not FIFO system (First In First Out). So our results came back in a very jumbled order. This created a situation where we had partial results on many holes but no complete holes for a long time. Add to this the complicated assay procedure and you have the very long time we experienced. However, some results are very close to being released now and I am sure Frank Candido does not want to be in Vancouver explaining why we have no assays back yet. Maybe today is finally the day...but at least before the show is my bet!
